International Women’s DJ
#InternationalWomensDJ #IWDJ2022 #InternationalWomxnsDJ March 5 to 8, 2022
International Women’s DJ (IWDJ) is a week-long online event dedicated to highlighting the work of amazing women DJs from around the world. Timed to coincide with International Women’s Day (March 8), the event will feature mixes from 8 amazing women DJs from different countries, broadcast on local and online radio stations around the world, in participation with CJLO 1690 AM, Flat Cola, Sugarface Belfo, La Dame DJ Carie.
Our goal is to support and showcase women dj endeavours, projects and aspirations; exchange with Local/Online Radio with the hopes of expanding and increasing women dj exposure; exchange with like-minded organisations; and build a larger networking community for us all. This project is about investing in the work that women have been doing in building their music communities, and at the same time, building long-lasting work relationships.
